In both 2017 and 2018, we polled over 1,000 18-24-year-olds about their daily social media usage in order to get an accurate read on how and where students are spending their time. Overall, we found that students are spending more and more time on Instagram and Twitter. Overall, we found that regular usage of both Instagram and Twitter has, on average, increased across the board among all demographics from 2017 to 2018.
